This sweet lamb flower garden dress doll is designed as a soft amigurumi lamb wearing a mint green garden dress with pink trim, flower appliqués, puff sleeves, sandals, a pink hair bow, and a tiny crossbody floral bag. The full scene also includes a matching mint sun hat, a small bee, a watering can, and a pink butterfly accessory, just like the garden-themed crochet doll shown in the image.
Please note: I strive for accuracy in every pattern, but occasional errors can happen. Thank you for understanding and for enjoying my designs.
Pattern Overview
This pattern uses continuous spiral rounds for the doll body and joined rounds for decorative clothing pieces. The finished doll has a rounded lamb head, a soft cream face, fluffy white wool cap, long lamb ears with pink inner panels, slim arms, straight legs, mint sandals, and a flared flower garden dress.
The proportions are designed to match the image: the head is slightly larger than the torso, the legs are long and narrow, the arms rest gently at the sides, and the skirt spreads outward with a scalloped pink border. The accessories are small but detailed so the finished doll feels like a complete garden set.

Gauge Notes
Gauge is not strict, but your stitches should be tight enough that stuffing does not show. For the doll head and limbs, use firm tension. For the dress skirt, sleeves, and hat brim, use a slightly relaxed tension so the pieces flare naturally.
If your doll looks too loose, change to a smaller hook. If the dress is too stiff, work the skirt with looser tension or switch to a hook one size larger for the clothing only.
Main Doll Head
The lamb head is worked in cream first to create the face shape. The white fluffy wool cap will be added separately over the top and sides, leaving the cream face visible at the front.

Stuff the head firmly. Shape the cheeks by adding a little extra stuffing to the front lower face. Do not close yet if you prefer to attach the head directly to the neck later. Fasten off with a long tail if sewing separately.
Face Shaping Lines
Using brown embroidery thread, sew a small rounded triangular nose centered between the eyes, placed over Rnds 16 to 18. Make the nose about 4 stitches wide at the top and taper to 1 stitch at the bottom.
From the bottom point of the nose, embroider one straight vertical line down over 2 rounds. Add a tiny split at the bottom to form a soft lamb mouth. Keep the mouth delicate, not smiling too widely.
For the curved lamb face lines, use light brown thread. Embroider one arch above each eye, beginning near the outer side of the eye and curving upward toward the forehead. Each arch should be about 8 stitches long.
Add pink cheek blush under each eye using pink yarn or cosmetic blush. Place each cheek over 3 to 4 stitches. The blush should sit just below and slightly outside the eyes, matching the soft pink cheeks in the image.
White Fluffy Wool Cap
The wool cap is the most important lamb feature. It sits like a fluffy cloud over the top of the head, leaving the cream face visible. Bobble stitches create the thick sheep wool texture shown in the image.

Body
The body is small compared with the head and is mostly covered by the mint dress. Use cream yarn for the body base. The waist should be narrow so the skirt can flare over it.

Stuff the foot firmly. Stuff the leg lightly as you go so it stays slim. Fasten off the first leg. Make the second leg the same way, but do not fasten off if joining directly to the body.
Joining Legs to Body
If making the doll in one piece, place the legs side by side with toes facing forward. Sc 5 across the inner side of the first leg, ch 2, sc 11 around the second leg, sc 2 across the chain, sc 6 remaining around the first leg. This creates 30 stitches for the lower body.
If sewing the legs on separately, attach both legs under the body with 5 stitches between them. The toes should point slightly outward, matching the relaxed seated position in the image.
Arms
The arms are cream with brown hooves at the hands. They are narrow and hang naturally beside the dress.
- Rnd 1: With light brown yarn, make MR, work 6 sc. 6 sts.
- Rnd 2: Inc around. 12 sts.
- Rnd 3: Sc around. 12 sts.

Stuff only the lower half of each arm. Leave the upper arm flat so it can lie smoothly against the dress. Sew arms to the body at Rnd 17, just under the sleeves, angled downward.
Mint Garden Dress
The dress is worked as a fitted bodice with a flared skirt. The color palette is mint green with soft pink trim and flower details. It should look like a sweet garden dress rather than a plain outfit.
Bodice
Work the bodice from the waist upward. It can be made directly on the doll or as a removable piece. For a fixed dress, work around the body after the legs and torso are complete.
- Rnd 1: With mint yarn, ch 31. Join with sl st to form a ring, making sure it is not twisted. Sc around. 30 sts.

Pink Bodice Stripes
Using pink yarn, embroider three small horizontal stripe rows across the front bodice. Each stripe should be about 7 stitches wide. Place them evenly between the neckline and waist. Use straight stitches, keeping them soft and slightly raised.

- Add small green leaf stitches around the lower skirt.
- Add a pale pink stitch line around the sleeves.
- Add a tiny white highlight stitch on each eye.

Assembly Order
- Finish and stuff the head, body, legs, and arms.

- Attach the white wool cap, making sure the front scallop frames the face.
- Sew ears to the sides of the head at a downward angle.
- Attach the arms under the sleeves.
- Add the dress bodice, skirt, sleeves, collar, waist ruffle, and hem.
- Sew flowers and stems to the skirt front.
- Add sandals and sandal daisies.
- Sew the pink bow onto the wool cap.
- Place the crossbody bag over the shoulder and tack it in position.
- Make the sun hat, bee, watering can, and butterfly accessories.
Final Assembly and Facial Detailing
When the doll is fully dressed, check the face again. The eyes should be even, the nose should sit centered, and the mouth line should be short and gentle. Add more blush if the face looks too plain.
Shape the head by gently pressing the cheeks forward. Smooth the white wool cap around the sides so it hugs the head without covering the eyes. The front wool scallop should dip softly in the center of the forehead.
Check the dress from the front. The bodice should sit straight, the collar points should meet near the center, and the skirt flowers should be visible above the scalloped hem. Adjust the bag strap so it crosses diagonally across the bodice.
Care Notes
- Spot clean the doll with a damp cloth and mild soap.
- Do not soak if using safety eyes, blush, or a wooden button.
- Let the doll air dry flat on a towel.
- Keep the hat brim shaped by smoothing it with your fingers after cleaning.
- Store small accessories in a pouch so the bee, butterfly, and watering can are not lost.

Detailed Cleaning and Preservation Guidelines
To preserve the shape of the doll, avoid heavy washing. Use a soft cloth to clean only the stained area. Press the cloth gently over the crochet stitches instead of rubbing, especially around the face, blush, dress flowers, and embroidered bag.
After cleaning, reshape the skirt ruffle, sleeves, ears, and hat brim while still slightly damp. Let everything dry naturally in a shaded place. Avoid direct sunlight for long periods because pale mint, pink, and cream yarns may fade over time.
For display, keep the doll on a clean shelf away from moisture. Place the small accessories beside the doll rather than under heavy objects. If storing long-term, wrap the doll loosely in tissue paper and keep it in a breathable fabric bag.
