This cheerful crochet garden scene features a round grassy display base, a stone wishing well with a clover-covered roof, tiny smiling frogs, a blue pond with lily pads and flowers, stepping stones, a Lucky Garden sign, a rope fence, a small garden cart, pots, seed packets, vegetables, and plenty of leafy clover details.
Please note: I strive for accuracy in every pattern, but occasional errors can happen. Thank you for understanding and for enjoying my designs.
Skill Level
This pattern is written for adventurous beginners and intermediate crocheters. Most pieces are made with basic amigurumi stitches, simple flat circles, short rows, and small sewn-on details. The finished project is designed as a decorative crochet diorama, not a rough-play toy.

- Stone well: about 3 inches wide and 3 inches tall without roof.
- Well with clover roof: about 6.5 inches tall.
- Small frogs: about 1.5 to 2 inches tall.
- Pond: about 4.5 inches wide.

Gauge and Structure Notes
For this project, exact gauge is less important than firm fabric. Use a hook small enough that stuffing does not show through. The main base should be firm and flat, while the frogs should feel softly rounded. The well wall should be sturdy enough to stand without collapsing.
The garden is built in layers. First make the large round base, then add the raised side wall and ruffled grass trim. After that, make and sew the pond, well, frogs, clover roof, fence, cart, vegetables, pots, stepping stones, and sign.
Large Round Garden Base
Use light grass green yarn. Work in joined rounds for a neat circular mat. Join each round with a sl st to the first sc and ch 1 before the next round. Do not count the ch 1 as a stitch.

Place the finished circle over the cardboard or plastic canvas support. Crochet one more round of sc through the base and around the support edge if possible. If the support is not pierceable, sew the crochet base around it later when making the side wall.
Raised Side Wall
The raised side gives the garden its tray shape like the photo. Continue with light grass green.

- Trim all yarn tails carefully and hide them inside nearby stitches.
Care Notes
This crochet garden is best used as a decorative handmade display. Keep it away from heavy moisture, direct harsh sunlight, and rough handling. If safety eyes are used, the project is not recommended for children under three years old.
To refresh the shape, gently press the base flat with your hands. Do not iron directly over safety eyes, stuffing, plastic canvas, or cardboard support. If needed, lightly steam from a safe distance and reshape with your fingers.
Quick Checklist Before You Finish
- The round base sits flat and the raised side wall stands evenly.
- The dark green ruffle is visible around the garden edge.
- The well is centered and the bucket hangs inside the opening.
- The roof is fully covered with overlapping clovers.

Detailed Cleaning and Preservation Guidelines
For dust, use a soft makeup brush or a clean dry paintbrush. Brush gently around the clover roof, frog faces, pond flowers, and fence knots. Avoid pulling on small stitched details.
For small spots, dab with a barely damp cloth and mild soap. Do not soak the piece. Let it air dry completely on a towel, keeping the base flat and the roof supported while it dries.
Store the garden in a box with tissue paper around the roof and fence. Do not place heavy items on top. The clover roof, sign, and well crank are the most delicate parts, so protect them during storage.
