Skill Level
Advanced beginner to intermediate. The main stitches are simple, but the project includes many small pieces, shaping, sewing, and detailed assembly. Work slowly, pin pieces before sewing, and check placement often so the finished diorama keeps the same balanced look as the photo.

Gauge and Tension
Gauge is not strict, but tight stitches are important. With a 3.0 mm hook, 6 sc and 6 rounds should measure about 1 in. If your stitches are loose, use a smaller hook so stuffing does not show through the bunnies, treehouse, ducks, and hedgehog.
General Pattern Notes
- Work amigurumi pieces in continuous rounds unless the pattern says to join.
- Use a stitch marker in the first stitch of every round.
- Stuff pieces firmly, but do not overstuff flat details such as doors, windows, stones, or vegetables.
- For a clean display piece, weave in ends carefully and hide knots on the underside.
- The layout is built from back to front: treehouse first, tall tree second, bridge, then garden, pond, animals, and tiny decorations.
Base Grass Platform
The base is a rounded rectangle of bright grass green with a thick border. It supports the treehouse, garden, pond, trees, fence, logs, and all small figures. Add a stabilizer inside if the diorama will be moved often.

- Sew the pond in the front-right area, then add stones, dock, ducks, lily leaves, cattails, and fishing bunny.
- Sew the garden bed in the front-left area and fill it with pumpkins, carrots, corn, lettuce, flowers, fence posts, and the basket bunny.
- Sew the hedgehog near the treehouse, the log stack near the right tree, and the small mushroom near the door path.
- Embroider all bunny eyes with small black knots. Add tiny pink noses and soft cheek stitches if desired.
- Check that all figures face toward the center so the diorama looks lively from the front view.
Care Notes
- Spot clean only with cool water and mild soap.
- Do not machine wash because the small pieces, bridge, fence, and dock may lose shape.
- Let the diorama air dry flat on a towel.
- Keep away from pets and very young children if small parts are attached.
Quick Checklist Before You Finish
- Treehouse: trunk, roots, door, window, cap, white spots, balcony, rail, and stairs are attached.
- Right side: tall tree, leaf balls, bridge, log pile, hedgehog, and small mushroom are secure.
- Pond: blue water, gray stones, dock, fishing bunny, ducks, lily leaves, cattails, and bobber are in place.
- Garden: soil bed, fence, pumpkins, carrots, corn, lettuce, flowers, shrub, and basket bunny are finished.
- Faces: bunny eyes, noses, ears, and body positions are neat and balanced.
Detailed Cleaning and Preservation Guidelines
- Dust gently with a soft brush, especially around the mushroom cap, bridge ropes, garden fence, and pond stones.
- If the base bends, place it under a light book overnight, avoiding pressure on the figures.
- Store the diorama in a dry display box when not in use.
- Avoid direct sunlight for long periods because red, blue, and green yarn may fade over time.
- For long-term display, support the bridge and balcony from underneath when moving the piece.
