This cheerful black-and-white puppy is designed as a seated amigurumi with floppy textured ears, a rounded white muzzle, glossy black eyes, blue overalls, yellow sandals, and a bright rainbow cardigan. The set also includes a striped crossbody flower bag, a blue flower sun hat, a tiny watering can, and a flower pot so the finished piece looks like the garden scene in the image.
Please note: I strive for accuracy in every pattern, but occasional errors can happen. Thank you for understanding and for enjoying my designs.

Gauge and Stitch Style
Use a tight amigurumi tension so the stuffing does not show. With DK yarn and a 2.5 mm hook, 8 sc rounds should measure about 1 inch in height. The body should feel firm but not stretched. If your stitches are loose, go down to a 2.25 mm hook.
The puppy in the image has a smooth, compact crochet texture on the face, body, overalls, and cardigan. The ears are thicker and fluffier, so they use loop stitches and extra surface texture. Stuff the head and body firmly. Stuff the arms and legs more lightly near the top so the puppy can sit naturally.

- Put the yellow sandals on the white paws and secure them with small stitches under the feet.
- Sew the bag strap diagonally from left shoulder to right hip.
- Sew the hair flower above the left ear.
- Place the hat beside the puppy or lightly tack it to the head if you want it worn.
- Arrange the flower pot and watering can beside the puppy to complete the garden display.
For the face, add white catchlight stitches on the black safety eyes if desired. Use one small white thread stitch at the upper outer edge of each eye. Keep the muzzle centered and do not overstuff it, because the image has a soft, rounded snout rather than a long pointed one.
Use black embroidery thread to refine the mouth. Make one straight line down from the nose and two small curved lines at the bottom. The expression should look calm, sweet, and gentle. Add three black toe lines to each white paw before the sandals are fully secured.
Care Notes
- Spot clean with cool water and mild soap.
- Do not soak if you used safety eyes, buttons, or glued decorations.
- Press gently with a towel and reshape while damp.
- Let the puppy air dry flat in a shaded place.
- Do not machine dry, because the ears, hat brim, and bag strap may lose shape.
Quick Checklist Before You Finish
- The white face blaze is centered between the two black patches.
- The ears hang long and fluffy on both sides of the head.
- The muzzle is sewn between the eyes and lower face, not too low.
- The cardigan opens at the front and shows the white chest and blue overalls.
- The rainbow sleeve stripes line up visually with the cardigan body.
- The bag strap crosses diagonally from shoulder to hip.
- The blue hat has a wide brim, yellow edge, flower, and green leaves.
- The garden props include both the flower pot and watering can.
Detailed Cleaning and Preservation Guidelines
To preserve the rounded amigurumi shape, store the puppy sitting upright rather than pressed flat. Keep the flower hat, watering can, and flower pot in the same display area, but avoid stacking them on top of the puppy because small flowers can bend.
If dust gathers on the loop-stitch ears, use a soft dry brush and brush downward from the top of each ear. Avoid pulling the loops. If a loop becomes too long, gently trim only the loose tip, not the anchored stitch.
For long-term display, keep the finished crochet puppy away from direct sunlight. Bright yarn colors such as coral red, yellow, green, and sky blue can fade if left in strong sun for many weeks. A shaded shelf or craft display case is best.
Before gifting, check every sewn piece carefully. Tug lightly on the ears, muzzle, arms, sandals, flowers, bag strap, and buttons. If the item is intended for a young child, embroider the eyes and buttons instead of using plastic safety eyes or hard buttons.
