General Notes
This pattern is worked in small sculptural sections and sewn together. The suitcase is made first because it controls the scale of every tiny bathroom piece. Work tightly, stuff lightly, and sew slowly. The original look depends on rounded cream borders, a blue textured interior, clustered white bubbles, many tiny yellow ducklings, and miniature spa accessories arranged like a cozy cottage bathroom.
Most amigurumi pieces are crocheted in continuous rounds unless the instruction says to turn. Use a stitch marker at the first stitch of every round. For flat panels, ch 1 at the beginning of each row and turn unless stated otherwise. Keep your yarn tails long because many pieces are attached by sewing.

Extra Floor Duck
Make one additional duckling using the basic duckling pattern, but stop after R5 and stuff more firmly so it stands upright. Place it near the front right corner, close to the slippers and toothbrush. This small detail helps the scene feel playful and matches the image’s loose duck on the floor.
Back Wall Arrangement

- Place slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste tube, and loose duckling near the front right corner.

Final Assembly and Facial Detailing
Before sewing everything permanently, place every piece inside the suitcase and take a photo from the front. Adjust the height of the wall pieces, the curve of the light garland, and the position of the doll until the scene feels balanced. The bathtub should be the main left feature, while the robed doll and plant should anchor the right side.
Use matching yarn for invisible seams and small sewing thread for delicate details. Add tiny white highlights to the doll eyes if using embroidery. Add blush with pink yarn, not marker, if the item may be washed. Secure all ducklings firmly because they are small raised pieces.
Care Notes
- Spot clean only with cool water and mild soap.
- Do not soak the suitcase if cardboard, plastic canvas, wire, or glued mirror backing is used.
- Reshape bubbles and plants with your fingers while damp.
- Let the whole piece air dry flat with the suitcase open.
Quick Checklist Before You Finish
- Suitcase frame is firm, cream, rounded, and evenly sewn.
- Blue floor and wall are flat and supported.
- Eight yellow lights are spaced around the inside lid.
- Mirror, sign, towel rack, and hanging plant are attached to the wall.
- Bathtub has a thick oval rim and many uneven bubble clusters.
- Ducklings have orange beaks and tiny black eyes.
- Doll has robe overlap, belt, towel turban, cheeks, and bath brush.
- Shell rug, slippers, spa bottles, comb, toothbrush, diffuser, and plant are all included.
Detailed Cleaning and Preservation Guidelines
Store the finished suitcase open or loosely closed so the doll, plants, and wall decorations are not crushed. Keep it away from direct sunlight to protect the soft blue wall and pale yellow lights from fading. If dust gathers, use a clean makeup brush or a cool hair dryer on the lowest setting.
For long-term display, place the suitcase on a dry shelf away from moisture. If any small accessory loosens, stitch it back with matching yarn instead of pulling the original seam tighter. This keeps the miniature spa cottage neat, soft, and ready for display.
