This cheerful knitted beach monkey has a large round brown head, a tan heart-shaped face, big blue eyes, pink cheeks, rounded ears, and a smiling mouth. Tan Heart-Shaped Face Panel

The face panel creates the monkey’s pale heart shape. It sits on the front of the head from the forehead down to the cheeks, with two rounded upper lobes and a lower muzzle area.

Check the face from the front before making final knots. The eyes should be large, bright, and slightly tilted inward. The cheeks should sit below the eyes, and the smile should curve upward to create the happy beach expression.

  • Face balance: keep both eyes equal distance from the nose.
  • Smile shape: use black embroidery thread and follow a wide curved line.
  • Cheek placement: sew pink circles on the lower sides of the tan face panel.
  • Vest details: place fish motifs unevenly for a handmade ocean look.
  • Sandal finish: make sure each anchor sits at the center front of the strap.

Care Notes

Spot clean the monkey with cool water and mild soap. Do not soak if buttons, embroidery, or glued decorations were used. Press gently with a towel and let the toy dry flat in a shaded area.

  • Keep away from direct heat.
  • Do not machine dry.
  • Reshape the head, ears, hands, and feet while damp.
  • Store the hat and small props separately if they are not sewn on.

For long-term display, keep the knitted monkey away from strong sunlight to protect the blue, brown, pink, and orange yarn colors. Dust gently with a soft brush. If storing, wrap the toy loosely in clean cotton fabric.

  • Refresh shape by gently massaging the stuffing back into place.
  • Avoid heavy objects on top of the head, ears, or hat brim.
