Bike Basket

  1. With tan, make MR, 6 sc in MR.

Check that all bunnies face inward toward the market scene. The left bunny should look like a customer, the middle bunny should look like the seller, and the right bunny should look like it is enjoying a blueberry treat.

  • Sew ears firmly so they stand upright.
  • Keep the seller bunny partly hidden behind the counter.
  • Angle the right bunny slightly toward the bicycle and stand.
  • Place loose blueberries only where they will not roll away.
  • Use small hidden stitches to secure every accessory.

Care Notes

This project is a decorative crochet display, not a toy for small children. Many parts are tiny and sewn on separately. If making it for a child, replace safety eyes with embroidery and skip wire or removable inserts.

Detailed Cleaning and Preservation Guidelines

Dust the finished scene with a soft makeup brush or clean paintbrush. Start at the canopy and work downward so dust does not settle into the small accessories. Avoid pulling on the blueberries, leaves, ears, or basket handles.

For storage, place the market scene in a roomy box with tissue paper around the canopy and bunnies. Do not press the roof flat. If the canopy bends, reshape it gently with your fingers and let it rest upright overnight.

To refresh the garden base, lightly steam from a distance without touching the yarn directly. Use only a small amount of steam and protect any cardboard inserts. Allow the whole display to dry completely before covering or storing.
