This Starlight Lily Gazebo Garden is a detailed crochet diorama featuring a square green garden base, a raised round gazebo, six cream columns, a white lily-petal roof, hanging moon and star lights, tiny musical animals, flowers, a stone path, a pond with lily pads, a wooden bridge, drums, a microphone, pampas grass, and a small concert sign. The finished piece is designed as a charming display scene full of soft garden-concert details.
Please note: I strive for accuracy in every pattern, but occasional errors can happen. Thank you for understanding and for enjoying my designs.

Gauge and Construction Notes
Gauge is not critical, but firm stitches are important. The gazebo should stand upright, the roof petals should hold their curved shape, and the animals should be stuffed smoothly. For amigurumi pieces, crochet tightly enough that stuffing does not show through the fabric.
The project is built in layers. First make the square garden mat, then the raised circular gazebo platform. The six columns are crocheted as tubes around hidden supports. The lily roof is made from separate white petals arranged around a green calyx and center stem.
Small garden details are added last. This helps you place the stone path, pond, bridge, flowers, animals, microphone, drums, sign, hanging ornaments, and grasses exactly like the image without overcrowding the center.
Special Stitch Notes
- Invisible decrease: Insert hook through the front loop of the next 2 sts, yarn over, pull through both front loops, yarn over, pull through 2 loops.
- Picot: ch 3, sl st into the first ch made.
- Standing flower cluster: ch 3, make 4 dc in the same st, remove hook, insert hook into top of ch-3, pull working loop through, ch 1 to close.
- Column rib: Work surface sl sts vertically after the column tube is finished to create the subtle raised lines seen on the cream columns.
1. Square Garden Base
Use moss green yarn and a 3.0 mm hook. This base is a firm square mat with a textured lawn look. Work in rows, then add a border. Keep the stitches even so the gazebo sits flat.
- Ch 61.
- Row 1: Sc in the 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. You will have 60 sc. Ch 1, turn.
- Rows 2 to 60: Sc in each st across. Ch 1, turn at the end of each row.
- Do not fasten off. Turn the square so you can work around all edges.
- Border Round 1: Ch 1, work 60 sc across each side, placing 3 sc in each corner. Sl st to the first sc.
- Border Round 2: Ch 1, sc in each st around, placing 3 sc in each corner st. Sl st to join.
- Border Round 3: Ch 1, reverse sc around the entire square for a corded edge. FO and weave in ends.
Cut a square of foam board or plastic canvas slightly smaller than the base. Stitch or glue it underneath if you want the garden to remain perfectly flat. The crocheted side should stay visible on top.
2. Raised Round Gazebo Floor
The gazebo floor is an olive green circle with a raised rim. It sits slightly back from the front edge, leaving room for the stone path, musicians, pond, and sign.

4. White Lily Petal Roof
The roof is made from eight large white petals that overlap slightly. Each petal has open lace holes, a raised center ridge, and a pointed tip. The petals hang down gently, forming the lily gazebo canopy.

23. Detailed Assembly
- Sew the square garden base to its hidden stabilizer if you are using one.
- Sew the raised gazebo floor to the back-center of the base. Use long stitches and pull them firmly through the stabilizer.
- Sew all six columns to the platform. Check each column from the front and side so they stand straight.
- Attach the lily roof to the column caps. Use matching yarn and pass through the roof, cap, and hidden support several times.
- Sew the green calyx and stem over the roof center, covering all petal joins.
- Hang the stars, crescent moon, and lanterns from the roof edge using black thread.
- Sew the stone path in place, beginning at the bottom center and ending at the gazebo entrance.
- Sew the pond to the front-right corner and add lily pads on top.
- Attach the bridge beside the pond, curving the middle upward.
- Add the frog, bunny, blue bird, teddy picnic tray, stump, drum, microphone, and sign.
- Fill empty lawn spaces with flowers, leaf sprigs, and music notes.
Final Assembly and Facial Detailing
Use black embroidery thread for all small faces. The frog should have round eyes and a curved smile. The bunny should have tiny black eyes, a pink nose, and a calm expression. The blue bird needs only dot eyes and a small yellow beak.
Before finishing, check the balance of the scene. The gazebo should be the tallest central feature, while the animals, pond, bridge, flowers, and concert accessories should frame it without hiding the lily roof.
Care Notes
- Display the project indoors and away from moisture.
- If LED lights are used, choose cool, battery-operated micro lights only.
- Do not wash the full assembled diorama in a machine.
- Spot clean gently with a damp cloth.
- Keep the roof petals supported when storing.
Quick Checklist Before You Finish
- All six columns are straight and firmly attached.
- The lily petals overlap evenly around the roof.
- The front gazebo entrance remains open.
- The hanging moon, stars, and lanterns are secure.
- The stone path lines up with the gazebo entrance.
- The frog, bunny, bird, picnic tray, pond, bridge, flowers, and sign are all stitched firmly.
- No loose yarn tails are visible from the front.
Detailed Cleaning and Preservation Guidelines
To clean the garden, use a soft makeup brush or small paintbrush to remove dust from the roof petals, columns, animals, and flowers. Work slowly around the tiny hanging ornaments so the cords do not stretch.
For small stains, dab the area with cool water and a mild soap solution. Do not soak the gazebo, because the stabilizer, column supports, and shaped roof petals may soften or bend.
Store the Starlight Lily Gazebo Garden in a shallow box with tissue paper around the roof and animals. Keep heavy items away from the top stem and petals. With gentle care, the finished garden will stay bright, detailed, and display-ready for many seasons.
